Pathways to More: Seamless Transfer for Lifelong Success

Take the next step toward your bachelor’s degree! Pathways to More is a guided transfer program between the Kentucky Community & Technical College System (KCTCS) and Thomas More University designed to help students easily and confidently complete both an associate and a bachelor’s degree. It provides the guidance, resources, and support you need for a smooth, successful transition from your KCTCS institution to Thomas More University.

The program is available to students from any of the 16 institutions in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. While this webpage offers helpful information about transferring, it is intended to complement—not replace—the guidance of your campus advisor or counselor. Program benefits and requirements:

Benefits
  • Students receive personalized academic advising from both institutions to ensure they stay on track to meet their goals
  • Students are eligible to take up to four courses from Thomas More University at the KCTCS tuition rate prior to transfer
  • Students will have access to a transfer coordinator for support before, during, and after their transition
  • Students will have access to Thomas More resources (e.g. library, tutoring, etc.), events (e.g. sporting and theater events), and facilities (e.g. Five Seasons Family Sports Club, etc.)
  • Students are guaranteed direct admission upon completion of the associate degree if they are in good academic standing at their KCTCS institution – no additional application or application fees. Note: Some specific programs may have additional requirements for entry into the major.

Requirements
  • Enrolled in and actively pursuing an associate degree program at a KCTCS institution
  • GPA Requirement:
    • Less than 12 collegiate hours completed post high school graduation: high school GPA of 3.0 or higher
    • 12+ collegiate hours completed post high school graduation: 2.0 KCTCS GPA
  • Plan to transfer to Thomas More University
  • Maintain a 2.0 GPA to remain in good standing
What are the costs of participating in the program?

If you choose to complete a course (or more) at Thomas More as part of the program, you will be assessed tuition at the KCTCS rate (for up to four courses). All other benefits are free to anyone enrolled in the program.
