November 19

William T. Robinson III ’67 Institute for Religious Liberty

We are celebrating 10 Years of Dialogue! Join us at 7:00 p.m. in Ziegler Auditorium to hear from our Rabbi David Saperstein, who returns as the keynote speaker, and our guest speaker, Msgr. William Cleves for an event celebrating 10 years of civil dialogue.

Saperstein, a rabbi, attorney, academic, and diplomat, was the first non-Christian to serve as the Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom, carrying out responsibilities as America’s chief diplomat on religious freedom issues.

Msgr. Cleves was awarded the Papal Silver Medal in Theology in 1979 for his research on miracles while at Pontifical Gregorian University. He taught at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, OH for five years and at Thomas More University for 24 years. He served as President of Thomas More University from 1992 to 2001 and was recently bestowed the honorary title of President Emeritus.
