Thomas More awards financial aid to 100% of admitted traditional students. The University’s generous scholarship offerings ensure that a high-quality, liberal arts education is affordable.

Academic Scholarships

Transfer Scholarship$15,000+ per yearStudents who have attended another institution of higher learning full-time for at least one semester.
Test Score Bonus$1,000-$4,000 per yearStudents with a verified test score equivalent to a 23 ACT/1130 SAT/74 CLT or higher are eligible for this award in addition to their academic scholarship. Amount varies depending on test score.

Thomas More Trust Scholarships

Thomas More Trust scholarships can be combined with your academic scholarship. Receiving one of these awards depends upon your meeting certain criteria beyond your academic performance. Trust scholarships are renewable for four years with the expectation that students continue to fulfill scholarship requirements.

Austin E. Knowlton Foundation ScholarshipUp to $5,000One award to an Ohio resident majoring in a STEM fieldThe Knowlton Foundation is the legacy of Austin E. Knowlton, community leader, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Mr. Knowlton established the Foundation in 1981 in recognition of his business success and civic involvement. He funded it during his lifetime and, through his will, created a lasting impact that continues to support students and higher education.

The Foundation’s primary mission is to promote and advance higher education in the United States through direct grants and contributions to qualified colleges and universities.

Whether you would like to pursue a graduate degree, finish your degree, or start college for the first time as an adult, the Achieve MORE scholarship is available to you to further your education. You become eligible for the scholarship once you are admitted into the program and registered for classes.
