Bishop Roger J. Foys Ministry and Service Scholarship
The Bishop Roger J. Foys Ministry and Service Scholarship intends to form the next generation of Saints to impact the Church in the Northern Kentucky-Greater Cincinnati area and beyond. The Scholarship is designated for students who are passionate about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and who want to share that Gospel in various ways. There are two fellowship opportunities within this overarching Scholarship. Recipients of each Scholarship opportunity are highly motivated students prepared to serve as Christ-like role models to the Thomas More University community. Participants will receive opportunities to strengthen their spirituality, be formed in the faith, cultivate strong relationships, enhance their leadership skills, and serve as the hands and feet of Christ in the broader Thomas More community.
These students will serve at a variety of events, such as Mass and other liturgies, Campus Ministry events, and engagement with faith and culture through the Center for Faith, Mission and Catholic Education. Requirements depend on the particular Scholarship program in which the student is placed during the application process.
Students who are selected to receive the Bishop Foys Scholarship are eligible for financial assistance to offset their tuition. The amount may vary based on factors that include academic merit, ministry and/or service experience, references, and the interview process.
To be considered, candidates must complete and submit the application and supporting materials by the priority deadline of November 1, 2025. Applications can be submitted at www.thomasmore.edu/foys.
