Compassion Pantry
Our Mission
The Compassion Pantry at Thomas More University is a student-led initiative that provides food and essential items to students experiencing food insecurity or lacking access to basic hygiene products. Created to support students and faculty who may struggle to obtain the resources they need to thrive, the pantry reflects a deep commitment to student’s well-being. Those who support and sustain the pantry work hard to ensure that no student goes without life’s necessities. Together, we continue to foster a campus community rooted in compassion, dignity, and service.

Our History
In 2023, the Compassion Pantry was revitalized as part of a service-learning initiative. Coordinated by Thomas More students in partnership with the James Graham Brown Scholars, the Compassion Pantry has grown to support basic needs like nonperishable food, personal care products, and school supplies. We also host amenities including a refrigerator and microwave to offer a safe space for students to thrive.
As we step foot into 2026, we are driven to reflect the university’s mission of our responsibility to others.
ADM is a Proud Partner of the Thomas More University Compassion Pantry. Together, we can achieve our mission of expanding access to food and essential items to students.
