Scholarships and Financial Aid at Thomas More University
Thomas More awards financial aid to 100% of admitted traditional undergraduate students. The University’s generous scholarship offerings ensure a high-quality liberal arts education is affordable for every Saint.
Academic Scholarships
Each academic scholarship is renewable for up to four years and may not be combined with other academic scholarships. No application beyond the admission application is required for academic scholarships.

| Transfer Scholarship | $2,000+ per year | Must have attended another college or university full-time for at least one semester and have 12 or more transferable credit hours. |
| Test Score Bonus | Additional $1,000-$2,000 per year | High school students with a verified test score equivalent to a 26 ACT/1240 SAT or higher are eligible for this award in addition to their academic scholarship. Amount will be added to their academic scholarship and varies depending on test score. |
Achievement Scholarships
These scholarships are designated for students with outstanding accomplishments in their academic careers and community service. Each requires a separate application in addition to the admission application.

Other Scholarships & Grants
These awards can all be combined with your academic scholarship. Receiving one or more of these awards depends upon your meeting certain criteria that may go beyond your academic performance. Unless otherwise noted, these awards are renewable for four years with the expectation that students continue to fulfill scholarship requirements.

| Austin E. Knowlton Foundation Scholarship | Up to $5,000 | One award to an Ohio resident majoring in a STEM field. | The Knowlton Foundation is the legacy of Austin E. Knowlton, community leader, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Mr. Knowlton established the Foundation in 1981 in recognition of his business success and civic involvement. He funded it during his lifetime and, through his will, created a lasting impact that continues to support students and higher education. The Foundation’s primary mission is to promote and advance higher education in the United States through direct grants and contributions to qualified colleges and universities.
