KCTCS – Thomas More transfer pathway program
The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) and Thomas More University have entered into a dual-admissions partnership to assist students in the completion of both an associate and bachelor’s degree. This webpage outlines assistance for students planning to transfer from any of KCTCS’s 16 institutions to Thomas More University. The information provided does not take the place of an advisor or counselor on your campus.

Program benefits and requirements:
Benefits
- Academic advising from both institutions
- Up to four courses from Thomas More University at the KCTCS rate prior to transfer
- Transfer coordinator to assist in transitioning
- Access to Thomas More resources (e.g. library, tutoring, etc.), events (e.g. sporting and theater events), and facilities (e.g. Five Seasons Family Sports Club, etc.)
- Guaranteed and direct admission for students in good academic standing at their home institution upon completion of the associate degree
*Some programs may have additional requirements for entry to the major.
Requirements
- Enrolled in and actively pursuing an associate degree program at a KCTCS institution
- GPA Requirement:
- Less than 12 collegiate hours completed post high school graduation: high school GPA of 3.0 or higher
- 12+ collegiate hours completed post high school graduation: 2.0 KCTCS GPA
- Plan to transfer to Thomas More University
- Maintain a 2.0 GPA to remain in good standing

If you are not yet enrolled at a KCTCS institution, apply for admission to a KCTCS institution and enroll in an associate degree plan before applying to the pathway program.
