Major/Minor

Images of theater productions including Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream and 12th Night, and The Spelling Bee, with students in lead roles onstage.

The Thomas More University Theatre Program offers a vibrant and engaging experience for students of all majors. Whether pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre, a minor in theatre, or simply exploring a passion for the arts, students are encouraged to participate in all aspects of theatrical production. From acting and directing to set design, lighting, and stage management, our program fosters creativity and collaboration. With multiple performances each year, students gain hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop their talents, build leadership skills, and be part of a dynamic community that celebrates storytelling and artistic expression.

To enhance their theatrical skills, students are encouraged to broaden their studies by taking courses in art, music, and creative writing. By developing artistic talents such as visual design, music theory, and creative storytelling, students gain a deeper understanding of the many elements that contribute to a successful production.

Scholarships are available to students of any major who maintain active participation in theatrical productions, whether onstage or behind the scenes.
