Federal Aid

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Applying for the FAFSA lets you know which types of financial aid you qualify for, including:

  • Grants
  • Loans
  • Work-study programs

Important things to remember:

  • The fastest way to apply for FAFSA is online at https://fafsa.ed.gov/
  • Apply as early as you can after October 1 of each year
  • The Thomas More University school code is: 002001

State Aid

Kentucky College Access Program (CAP) Grant

This is a need-based award that requires the submission of the FAFSA and proof of Kentucky residency before being considered.

Kentucky Tuition Grant (KTG)
This need-based award also requires submission of the FAFSA as well as proof of Kentucky residency.

Important things to remember:

  • Since funding for these grants is limited, we strongly recommend you apply immediately after October 1 to ensure funds.

Thomas More also offers various scholarships based on extracurricular and community involvement. You may also qualify for employer discounts and tuition reimbursement.
