- Peer-to-Peer Tutoring: Peer tutoring is now online while students are learning remotely. Students can get connected to peer tutors at Thomas More through WCOnline. Work in real-time with a peer tutor using the virtual whiteboard, or upload an assignment with your questions and a tutor will get back to you within 24 hours. Online peer tutoring is open and will be available during various hours, M-F between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. See the Online Tutoring Schedule in WCOnline for peer tutor availability.
- Math Tutoring is available online through WCOnline. Log in and choose the Math Tutoring schedule to connect with Kelli Lang for assistance with most math courses.
- The Writing Center will also be available to students online. Students can sign up for a time slot and upload their paper to be reviewed by a peer tutor in the Writing Center. Tutors will review papers based on the student’s questions and provide feedback within a few hours.
- Smarthinking Online Tutoring: Available 24/7, Smarthinking is another option for online academic support. A link to Smarthinking Online Tutoring can be found in the left-hand menu of your Canvas course home page.
Academic coaches can help you with time management and staying organized while you learn online from home. Students may request to receive academic coaching virtually while they are off-campus. You can contact Heather Abbott to get connected with one of Thomas More’s academic coaches. Academic coaching will be conducted through email, phone calls, or video conferencing.
