Together We Will Remain Healthy at Thomas More (November 16, 2020)

 Dear Thomas More Community,

As we head into the final week before Thanksgiving, the University continues to hold in the “Low Alert” threshold though the number of Covid cases are on the rise in Ohio and Kentucky. Since our numbers are in the “Low Alert” threshold, classes and finals will continue as scheduled. We are closely monitoring the recommendations and mandates from the Governors of Ohio and Kentucky.

The number of positive Covid cases increased from 16 last Monday to 21 today (1.2%). The number of individuals in quarantine or isolation also increased from 52 last Monday to 60 today (4.3%). We know that the disease is being brought to campus, so it is important that you avoid social gatherings, wear your mask, and continue to wash your hands. We all must do our part in keeping our community healthy and safe for everyone.

As we continue to monitor this situation and its potential impact upon our community, I encourage you to review the University’s Covid Dashboard daily.

Best,

President Chillo
