Dear Thomas More Community,

The number of Covid cases on campus remain in the Low Alert Threshold. We currently have 10 positive cases and 25 students in quarantine. There has been a small increase in our cases over the past week and serves as a good reminder that we must all continue to do our part to keep our community safe and healthy.

Vaccination infrastructure in northern Kentucky continues to grow with the addition of more vaccination providers, sites, and supply from the federal and state levels. However, demand is still much higher than available doses. Kentucky residents can find vaccination information available through the Northern Kentucky Health Department, Kentucky Public Health Department, or by calling Kentucky’s vaccine hotline, 855-598-2246. We are continuing to work with our local partners to secure the vaccine for all university employees and will keep you updated on possibilities.

Thomas More University will be hosting the opening round of the NAIA men’s and women’s basketball national championship. We will be following strict Covid-19 protocols to protect the health and safety of our community. All visiting team players and support staff will be tested before traveling to campus and then upon arrival. All attendees will be screened before entering the Connor Convocation Center. More information is available on our website, including links to watch all games. Our men’s team plays on Friday at 5:00 pm and our women’s team plays on Saturday at 7:30 pm.

Please continue to wear your mask, social distance, consider vaccination in consultation with your healthcare provider, and call Campus Safety at 859.341.4867 if you are having any Covid-19 symptoms.

Thank you for your continued attention to the safety and well-being of our community.
