Together We Will Remain Healthy at Thomas More (March 1, 2021)

Dear Thomas More Community,

The number of Covid cases on campus remain in the Low Alert Threshold. We currently have 2 positive cases and 6 students in quarantine. The incidence rate in Kenton County has declined and is no longer a Red Zone. This is excellent news for our community.

Vaccination sites in northern Kentucky are now scheduling appointments as part of phase 1C. According to information we confirmed this morning, you must be a resident of Kentucky or a health care worker in Kentucky to be eligible for vaccination in Kentucky. Ohio and Indiana residents should review their eligibility according to their state vaccination plans.

We know that this has been a stressful time, and you may be anxious, worried, or unsure about the future. Counseling services are available at no charge on campus or via telehealth. Information regarding counseling services, as well as emergency hotlines and other off-campus resources, is available on our website.

Please continue to wear your mask, social distance, consider vaccination in consultation with your healthcare provider, and call Campus Safety at 859.341.4867 if you are having any Covid-19 symptoms.

Thank you for your continued attention to the safety and well-being of our community. We will continue to update you with information we receive regarding vaccination plans in our region.
