Together We Will Remain Healthy at Thomas More (February 22, 2021)
Dear Thomas More Community,
The number of Covid cases on campus continues to decrease and all indicators remain in the Low Alert Threshold. We currently have 1 positive case and 11 students in quarantine. This decline is consistent with the trends in our region.
Additional vaccination sites have opened in Northern Kentucky, but the focus continues to be people in Phases 1A and 1B, with a priority on individuals 70 and older and childcare workers. More information is available through the Northern Kentucky Health Department.
As we continue to manage Covid on our campus and monitor the vaccine rollout in our region, we are also preparing for the next academic year. The academic calendar for 2021-2022 is a “normal” calendar with a fall mid-term break, Thanksgiving holiday, spring break, and Easter recess. The Fall 2021 schedule, available now, also includes more on-ground courses while maintaining options for online and hybrid courses for those who prefer these modalities. Advising week is scheduled for March 15-19 and priority registration begins on Monday, March 22. Please contact your advisor if you have any questions and to schedule an advising appointment.
Please continue to wear your mask, social distance, consider vaccination in consultation with your healthcare provider, and call Campus Safety at 859.341.4867 if you are having any Covid-19 symptoms.
Thank you for your continued attention to the safety and well-being of our community.
