TOGETHER WE WILL REMAIN HEALTHY AT THOMAS MORE (FEBRUARY 15, 2021)
Dear Thomas More Community,
The number of Covid cases continues to decrease and remains in the Low Alert Threshold. We currently have 6 positive cases and 15 individuals in quarantine. Demand for vaccinations in our area continues to be higher than vaccine availability. Vaccination priority for first doses continues to be phase 1B persons age 70 and older for the next several weeks. We encourage you to verify your vaccination phase and sign up for notifications through the Kentucky Department for Public Health.
Our Healthy at Thomas More protocols have been updated in alignment with CDC and Northern Kentucky Health Department guidance for vaccinated individuals. The policy update is as follows:
- Vaccinated individuals will not be required to quarantine following travel or exposure to someone with confirmed COVID-19 if all of the following criteria are met:
- Are fully vaccinated (i.e., ≥2 weeks following receipt of the second dose in a 2- dose series, or ≥2 weeks following receipt of one dose of a single-dose vaccine)
- Are within 3 months following receipt of the last dose in the series
- Have remained asymptomatic since the current COVID-19 exposure
Documentation of vaccination must be provided to the Campus Health Center. Anyone who does not meet all three criteria will be quarantined according to our procedures. Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms must begin isolation.
While more individuals are being vaccinated and the Covid cases decline in our region, we must continue to do our part to keep our community healthy and safe. Please continue to wear your mask, social distance, and call Campus Safety at 859.341.4867 if you are having any Covid-19 symptoms.
Thank you for your continued attention to the safety and well-being of our community.
