Together We Will Remain Healthy at Thomas More (APRIL 19, 2021)
Dear Thomas More Community,
We currently have one positive case on campus and six students in quarantine, none of whom are on campus. All indicators remain in the Low Alert Threshold. The number of cases in our region has increased slightly over the past week, which serves as a reminder that we must continue to follow covid protocols.
Governor Beshear has announced that he will begin to lift capacity restrictions and physical distancing requirements when 2.5 million Kentuckians have received their first dose of the vaccine. The mask requirement will remain in effect for the coming months. The Governor is planning for the fall semester to be closer to a normal semester. For now, we must focus on vaccination for those who are eligible as our key strategy for ending the covid pandemic. To view vaccination sites and eligibility across the country, you may use this Vaccine Finder. Once you have completed your vaccine, please submit your vaccination record through MyTMU so that we are able to monitor vaccinations in our community.
As we finish the spring semester, all Healthy at Thomas More guidelines are still in effect. You must wear your mask on campus, self-monitor daily for symptoms, and maintain proper social distance. Thank you for your continued attention to the safety and well-being of our community.
