Thomas more alumni
class ambassador program

What is a Class Ambassador?

Class Ambassadors are volunteers whose passion for Thomas More calls them to act as engaged intermediaries between the Alumni Association, the alumni office, and their classmates.

While there is communication between the University and its alumni, it will never replace the connection between classmates.

Class Ambassadors connect through social media, attend and plan events, and support the institution.

What are the roles of a Class Ambassador?

  • Liaisons: They inform their classmates on current issues at the University and provide feedback to the University on classmates’ interests, concerns, and news.
  • Storytellers: Class Ambassadors help the alumni community stay connected to each other and to Thomas More by collecting newsworthy information from their classmates for publication in the Class Notes section of the Moreover magazine, and on all alumni social media accounts.
  • Leaders: Class Ambassadors encourage their classmates to be involved in Thomas More activities and events and assist in recruiting committee members for reunions. They also help classmates identify ways for alumni to volunteer across campus including at the Success Center, student recruitment, philanthropy, and more.

Why should I be a Class Ambassador?

Class ambassadors fulfill each of these roles and responsibilities to make a huge impact at Thomas More University.

You can reach out to your peers however you’d like and on your own time.

This program is completely flexible and dependent upon your schedule.

You will have a staff liaison who can work one-on-one with you to guide you through the process and answer any questions.
