Thomas More College brings you the second student directed production of the 2016-17 season. Irena's Vow, by Dan Gordon and directed by Sofie Vietas, is the story of a young Polish girl faced with the opportunity to save several lives. Even though over the course of World War II she witnesses great evil and devastation, she continues to fight, insisting that there is always hope. This moving story, based on the life of Irena Gut Opdyke, is one that continues to resonate with and challenge audiences. Following the April 1 performance, speaker Sonja Stratman will share with the audience her own experience growing up under the Nazi regime.
