The social hub of Thomas More College, the Thomas More College Student Center is home to many offices and departments that shape the extracurricular landscape of the College.
Situated between the Administration Building and the residence halls, the 27,000 square foot facility houses the campus bookstore, game room, dance studio, food court, offices for student activities and a large conference and ballroom. The Thomas More College Student Center is a great place for meetings, capable of accommodating groups of just about any size. The building is arranged on two floors, and offers a variety of amenities and services for the students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests of Thomas More College.
Any given school day or weekend, the TMC Student Center may play host to a variety of fun and exciting recreational events, entertainment and educational programs: casual euchre or spades tournaments, lectures on student leadership, well-deserved (and free) stress-relieving massages during exam week, or just a respite for a campus commuter looking for a break.
Steigerwald Hall is the main meeting room and event space in the Student Center. On a given day, Steigerwald Hall might host a meeting, comedian, dinner, awards ceremony, mass or any number of events and activities. The room is designed to be multi-purpose and can accommodate between 250 and 300 participants. Steigerwald Hall is Located on the Main floor of the Student Center.
The Interlude Café is located on the main floor of the Thomas More College Student Center. Students can enjoy a wide range of food options while, studying, hanging out with friends, watching the big screen TV or shooting pool. The CafÃ© offers the following types of menu items:
