Campus Dining is administered by Aramark Food Services. In order to ensure that all resident students have access to adequate food service, Thomas More College requires that all residents obtain a College meal plan. Meal Plans are administered based on a number of block meals per week plus an additional dollar amount that can be used on a declining balance to purchase small items a la carte (which is referred to as flex cash). Meals will be automatically loaded on to the student's Saints Card each Wednesday and meals plans run through the following Tuesday. Meals that are not used by Tuesday do not rollover and cannot be reimbursed. Saints Cards are made during Orientation in the Campus Safety office and replacement cards can be made for $10. The meal plan can be used at any of the two dining facilities on campus. Food service is available 7 days a week during the academic semester, and hours of operations can be found on the Campus Dining website. The meal plan can be used at the main dining facility located in Seiler Commons and at the Interlude Café in the Saints Center during special hours.
All residents are initially are assigned to the 14-meals/week plan but do have the option of changing meal plans when they sign the Board Contract. FIRST YEAR STUDENTS (LESS THAN 30 CREDIT HOURS) HAVE THE OPTION OF CHOOSING BETWEEN THE 14- OR ALL ACCESS-MEALS/WEEK PLAN. UPPERCLASSMEN (30 OR MORE CREDIT HOURS) HAVE THE OPTION OF CHOOSING THE 10-, 14-, OR ALL ACCESS MEALS/WEEK PLAN. Residents can change their meal plan by visiting the Residence Life Office located on the second floor of the Administration Building within the first 10 business days of the semester. Additional flex cash can be purchased through the Bursar.
The remaining balance of a student's flex cash at the end of the fall semester will carry forward to the spring semester. ANY UNUSED FLEX CASH AT THE END OF THE SPRING SEMESTER WILL NOT CARRY FORWARD. This amount will be forfeited at the end of the spring semester.
The dining facilities on campus offer everything from a hot meal, to cold cuts and desserts. More information about the resident meal plan can be obtained from the Director of Food Service at 859-344-3317.
