The Student Government Association for Thomas More College serves as the official representative of the Student Body. From serving as the liaison between the Student Body and the faculty, administration, and the Board of Trustees to working towards improvements in the quality of student life, the Student Government is there when the Student Body needs them.
The Student Government Association consists of the Executive Council, the Delegates at Large and Associates and is governed by its Constitution.

Jacob Powers – President
Jake is a senior History major. He served as SGA President last year, Executive VP the year before that, and a delegate freshman year. He has also been an O-Team Director, Assistant Director, Leader, and History Club President. He plans on going to graduate school, probably in archives/public history. He is available to discuss any ideas that students have for improving TMC and hopes that all students, especially freshman, find TMC to be a welcoming community. |

Lauren Helton – Vice President
Lauren Helton is a senior psychology major and the Executive Vice President of YOUR Thomas More College Student Government Association. This year she hopes to reboot the student grievances committee so that your voice gets heard, work closely with Aramark to ensure that campus dining is the best it can be, and run successful elections to find the best students to represent you. Carrie Hartman – Vice President of Programming
Carrie is a Junior English major. Last year, she was involved in SAB, starting as the assistant to the EVP of PR, and later filling the role. She is also an O-Team leader. In her free time, if she ever has any, she loves listening to music and reading. She also enjoys artsy craftsy activities. When she graduates, she would like to be an editor. She looks forward to getting to know all the delegates and to having a successful year! |

Audrey McCabe – Vice President of Public Relations
Audrey is a junior Nursing major and an active member of Biology Club, Outdoor Adventure Club, and Student Nurses Association. She has been an Admissions Ambassador since she was a freshman and loves the position. She enjoys interacting with potentially new students. She is also going into her third year of Cheerleading for Thomas More. As SGA's Vice President of Public Relations she hopes to encourage more student involvement in the overall community. |

Joel Wright - Vice President of Finance
Joel Wright is a sophomore at Thomas More College majoring in Theology. He is from Burlington Vermont. He chose to attend TMC because of the welcoming environment, outstanding academic programs, and cultural opportunities that were offered. He enjoys spending time with family and friends. His main goal as Vice President of Finance for the Student Government Association is to promote club stability and provide a firm foundation for the social outreach work of SGA. |
