Institute for Religious Liberty Events
The Thomas More College Institute for Religious Liberty in partnership with Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion held their inaugural event in February, 2016 on campus at the Connor Convocation Center. The event featured two nationally respected religious leaders as speakers: U.S. Ambassador for Religious Freedom Rabbi David Saperstein, and Archbishop of Louisville and the President of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops the Most Reverend Joseph E. Kurtz, D.D. Most Reverend Roger J. Foys, D.D., Bishop of the Diocese of Covington, Chancellor, Thomas More College was also in attendance, along with Rabbi Gary P. Zola, PhD, Professor, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and Executive Director of the Jacob Rader Marcus Center of the American Jewish Archives. The evening, with high attendance, provided thought provoking discussion regarding the meaning of Religious Liberty and the protection of that right for all people. Corporex was the presenting sponsor of the inaugural event.
