The Future is Now

The Computer Information Systems program at Thomas More University prepares students to be technology professionals and leaders with the skills to drive innovation in their future careers and businesses.

Thomas More University offers small classes taught by faculty with extensive experience in the IT industry.

Students will be learning to program, design databases, and build web applications to solve technical problems that help companies be the innovative leaders of tomorrow.

Faculty teaching in this program consist of educators with proven experience in the IT field. Full time faculty have over 30 years of industry experience working in Software Development, Web Development, Networking, Solution Implementation, and IT Consulting. These faculty are assisted by currently practicing IT professionals who adjunct part time at Thomas More.

Current computer information systems alumni are leading IT services for Great American Insurance, Frutarom, Projetech, Booz Allen Hamilton, as well as numerous other companies.

Students will have experiential learning opportunities that include internships and a senior capstone project.

Students planning to earn a bachelor’s degree in MIS or CIS with an ACT of 23 or higher or an SAT of 1060 or higher and a high school GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in a college prep curriculum are encouraged to apply for a full-tuition scholarship. For more information, click here.
