Nursing is an art and science blended for the purpose of maximizing health and promoting wellness and preventative illness. The Department of Nursing supports Thomas More College's goals relating to the pursuit of excellence in liberal education, dedication to the dignity of the human person, and the search for truth as it affects those living in our contemporary society. The Department of Nursing's purposes are to respond to the learning needs of students, to prepare generalists in nursing practice who will have an excellent foundation for graduate education, and to respond to the healthcare needs of the community.
