Loan Entrance Counseling
All students who borrow Stafford Student Loans are required to complete Loan Entrance Counseling. This is a federal requirement, and students cannot receive any Stafford Loan funds until they have completed the counseling.
To complete Entrance Counseling, go to Studentloans.gov.
- Sign in with your social security number, the first two letters of your last name, your date of birth, and your FAFSA PIN number.
- If you forget your PIN, visit www.pin.ed.gov and select “Request a Duplicate PIN” to retrieve it.
- Once you’ve signed in, click “Complete Entrance Counseling.”
