Prepare Your Path
Thomas More College offers you two options for
a Bachelor of Arts in English. You can complete
the traditional English major with a focus on
British and American literature, or an English
major in Creative Writing, which features a
variety of writing workshops along with literary
studies. Pairing an English major with another
degree makes you that much more marketable.
Some of our recent English graduates also hold
degrees in psychology, communications, theater,
art, theology and biology.
emphasis we place on hands-on job experience.
Internships and networking opportunities in
news reporting, copy editing, literary magazine
publication, grant writing, literacy programs and
tutoring, among others, help your portfolio stand
out when it's time to interview for your first fulltime
job. No matter what path you choose, you'll
develop skills to succeed in the job market or
graduate school program.
