Pro-Life Club: Saints for Life
The mission of the More Ministry is to build a spiritually-based student community on the Thomas More College campus. More Ministry will provide a club experience to students of all faiths who wish to share and grow in their faith through service, social, and spiritual activities. More Ministry will support and be supported by the Office of Campus Ministry.
The mission of the More Life Club as a student-led group at Thomas More College is to promote, celebrate and defend a culture of life that respects the dignity of the human person from conception to natural death.
Join us for the March for Life in Washington DC, January 21-January 23
The cost is $50 per person to help offset cost of transportation. Your payment will be due by December 1st. Please bring your money (cash or check) to Heather Paulsen in Student Affairs office on the second floor of the administration building. Upon paying, you will also be asked to complete a Waiver. Everyone will be responsible for paying for their own meals. Be sure to bring cash for food, Metro fare (Bring $5-10 for the Metro), and gifts-we will most likely be going to the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and their gift shop is amazing! The trip will begin Thursday, January 21st around 7pm (exact time TBD) and end on Saturday, January 23 early morning (sometime between 4-7am).
You will be missing only one day of classes on Friday January 22 so please inform your instructor. If your professor requests documentation, you will need to inform the Dean of Student Affairs, Amy Wylie, 5 days prior to the trip.
The schedule for the weekend will be:
Thursday January 21:
Leave TMC at about 7pm (TBD)
Friday January 22:
Arrive in DC
Get breakfast on the road
Go to mass with the Diocese of Covington around 11 am
Get lunch somewhere on the Mall
MARCH FOR LIFE! around 1 pm
Visit National Shrine of Immaculate Conception (travel via Metro)
Leave DC around 7 or 8 pm
Get dinner on the road
Saturday January 23:
Drive back to TMC, arrive between 4-7am
In order to save your spot on the bus, you must:
- Complete the online registration
- Pay Heather Paulsen in Student Affairs $50.00 prior to December 1
- Complete the Waiver
