Saints Fall, 9-0, at Mount St. Joseph

(CINCINNATI, Ohio) - The Thomas More College women's tennis team fell, 9-0, to across-the river rival, the College of Mount St. Joseph today (Wednesday, October 7, 2009) at the Mount Tennis Courts in Cincinnati, Ohio.

With the win the Lions improve to 8-6 overall and with the loss the Saints fall to 2-7 overall.

Sophomore Lauren Race (Cortland Manor, N.Y./John F. Kennedy Catholic) had a competitive match before falling, 6-1, 6-3.

Thomas More returns to action on Saturday (October 10) when it travels to Washington, Pennsylvania to play Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) rival Washington & Jefferson College.  The match is scheduled for 11 a.m.
