Corbello Named PAC SAAC Scholar-Athlete of the Month

(WEXFORD, Pa.) - The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced today (Tuesday, December 15, 2009) that Thomas More College's Brandi Corbello (Florence, Ky./Boone County) has been named December's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Female Scholar-Athlete of the Month.

Saints Fall, 3-1, to St. Mary's (Minn.) in First Round of NCAA Tournament

(ST. LOUIS, Mo.) - The Thomas More College volleyball team fell, 3-1, to St. Mary's (Minn.) University tonight (Thursday, November 12, 2009) in the first round of the Central Regional of the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament hosted by Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.  St. Mary's won by the scores of 23-25, 25-21, 25-20 and 27-25.

Saints Open NCAA Tournament Play in St. Louis

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The Thomas More College volleyball team will travel to St. Louis, Missouri on Thursday (November 12) to play St. Mary's (Minn.) University in the first round of the NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament in a regional hosted by Washington University - St. Louis.  The match is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CST inside the WU Fieldhouse. (WEXFORD, Pa.) - Thomas More College setter Emily Bohman (Yorkshire, Ohio/Versailles) was named Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Volleyball Player of the Year to headline four Saints honored by the conference's coaches on Saturday.

Saints Defeat Thiel, 3-0, to Win PAC Championship and Clinch NCAA Berth

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The top-seeded Thomas More College volleyball team defeated second-seeded Thiel College, 3-0, today (Saturday, November 7, 2009) in the championship match of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Tournament at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.   The Saints won the match by the scores of 25-22, 25-14 and 25-22.

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The top-seeded Thomas More College volleyball team defeated fourth-seeded Washington & Jefferson College, 3-1, tonight (Friday, November 6, 2009) in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Tournament semifinal match at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.  The Saints won the match by the scores of 26-24, 22-25, 25-12 and 25-13.

(DANVILLE, Ky.) - The Thomas More College volleyball team split a pair of matches today (Saturday, October 31, 2009) at the Centre College Halloween Bash in Danville, Kentucky.  The Saints defeated host Centre, 3-0, but fell, 3-2, to Maryville (Tenn.) College.

Saints Win Twice and Clinch the Outright PAC Regular Season Title

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The Thomas More College volleyball team defeated Thiel College, 3-2, and Saint Vincent College, 3-1, today (Sunday, October 25, 2009) in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) tri-match at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.  With the win over Thiel the Saints clinched the outright PAC regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the PAC Championship Tournament that will be played the week of November 2.

Saints Ranked in First NCAA Great Lakes Region Poll

(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) - The Thomas More College volleyball team is ranked No. 8 in the first NCAA Divsion III Great Lakes Region Rankings on the season.  The rankings are compiled by the NCAA Championships committee and are used to determine the field and seeding of the 2009 NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship. (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - The Thomas More College volleyball team fell, 3-1, to across-the River rival, the College of Mount St. Joseph tonight (Wednesday, October 21, 2009) in a non-conference match at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.  Mount St. Joseph won the scores of 25-22, 25-18, 15-25 and 25-21.

(PITTSBURGH, Pa.) - The Thomas More College volleyball team split a pair of matches today (Sunday, October 11, 2009) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  The Saints opened the day with a 3-0 sweep at Chatham University and then traveled three miles to Carnegie Mellon University and fell, 3-2, to the Titans.

(ADA, Ohio) - The Thomas More College volleyball team opened the 2009 season today (Friday, September 4, 2009) with two losses to nationally-ranked teams at the Ohio Northern University Invitational in Ada, Ohio.  The Saints fell, 3-2, to No. 8-ranked Southwestern (Texas) University and, 3-1, to No. 16-ranked Calvin College.
