(WEXFORD, Pa.) – Thomas More College sophomore Dana Bors (Lebanon, Ohio/Lebanon) was named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Softball Pitcher of the Week today (Monday, April 27, 2009) by the conference office.

Bors earned the award for the second consecutive week after posting a 2-0 mark in four appearances in the circle for the 4-0 Saints. She pitched two complete game shutouts, giving up just four hits combined. Against Waynesburg, she fired a no-hitter and struck out 14-of-17 batters she faced.

Bors and the rest of the Saints will close out the 2009 regular season on Tuesday (April 28) with a non-conference doubleheader with John Carroll University. The doubleheader will be played at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio at 4 p.m.
