(WEXFORD, Pa.) - Thomas More College freshman first baseman Brittany Wegman (West Harrison, Ind./East Central) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Softball Hitter of the Week on Monday (April 13, 2009) by the conference office.

Wegman led the Saints to a perfect 4-0 week against PAC competition by batting .500 (seven-for-14) with four home runs, seven runs scored and 10 runs batted-in. For the week, she posted a 1.357 slugging percentage.

Wegman and the rest of the Saints will nex play on Wednesday (April 15, 2009) when they host across-the River rival, the College of Mount St. Joseph in a non-conference doubleheader at Thomas More Field in Crestview Hills, Kentucky. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
