(WEXFORD, Pa.) - Thomas More College sophomore Samantha Ladenburger (Felicity, Ohio/Felicity-Franklin) was named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Softball Pitcher of the Week today (Monday, March 23, 2009) by the conference office.

Ladenburger posted a 3-1 record with a 1.09 earned run average in the circle for the 5-1 Saints last week. In 19 and one-third innings of work, she allowed four runs (three earned) on 17 hits, while striking out a pair of batters.

Ladenburger and the rest of the Saints will next play on Thursday (March 26, 2009) when they travel to Columbus, Ohio for a non-conference doubleheader with Capital University. First pitch of the first game at Clowson Field is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
