Weis Named PAC Hitter of the Week

(WEXFORD, Pa.) - Thomas More College senior catcher Jennifer Weis (Union, Ky./Ryle) was named the PAC Softball Hitter of the Week on Monday (March 16, 2009) by the conference office.

Weis batted .343 (11-for-32) with three home runs, two doubles, six runs scored and 18 runs batted-in, in 10 games for the 7-3 Saints last week at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Florida.

Weis and the rest of the Saints will open up their northern schedule today (Tuesday, March 17, 2009) for a non-conference doubleheader at Wilmington College.  First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
