With the loss, the Saints fall to 0-3 and with the win, the Panthers improve to 3-5.
In doubles action, the No. 1 team of sophomore Andrew Hetzer (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) and junior Evan Bryan (Petersburg, Ky./Villa Madonna) had a competitive match before falling, 8-5.
In singles action, Hetzer battled at No. 1 before falling 6-2, 7-5.
Thomas More returns to action on Saturday (March 27) when it travels to Bethany, West Virginia to play Bethany College at 10 a.m. and Grove City College at 1 p.m.
