Saints Shoot 322 On First Day of NCAA Championship

(HERSHEY, Pa.) - The Thomas More College men's golf team shot a 322 on the first day of the NCAA Division III Championship today (Tuesday, May 11, 2010) on a cold and rainy Hershey Country Club East Course in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Skidmore College leads the championship after carding a 295.

Individually for the Saints, junior Brandon Dulle (Cincinnati, Ohio/Saint Xavier) is tied for 65th with a 78, sophomore Jarrett Gronauer (West Chester, Ohio/Moeller) is tied for 93rd with an 80, senior Joe Ruzick (Cincinnati, Ohio/LaSalle) is tied for 104th with an 81, junior Jacob Bowman (Latonia, Ky./Holy Cross) is tied for 134th with an 83 and sophomore Mike Pharo (Cincinnati, Ohio/Moeller) is tied for 143rd with an 84.

The Saints will compete in the second round tomorrow (May 12) when they play Hershey Links with the first tee time at 7 a.m.  The championship will be cut to the top-23 teams and top-five individuals not on one of the those teams for the final two rounds on Thursday and Friday (May 13-14).
