Steimetz Named All-South Region

(MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.) – Thomas More College junior linebacker Brad Steinmetz (West Harrison, Ind./East Central) was named to the All-South Region Team today (Wednesday, December 10, 2008) by the internet web site, d3football.com.

Steinmetz was a second team selection after leading the team with 92 tackles, including a team-leading 19 for a loss and also recorded seven sacks, one interception and recovered on fumble.  Last month he was named first team All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference.

The Saints finished the 2008 season 8-3 overall and won the PAC title with a 6-0 conference record and made the school’s third appearance in the NCAA Division III Football Championship Playoffs.
