Tyler Grant Inducted Into NFF Honor Society

(IRVING, Texas) –In recognition of his accomplishments in the classroom and on the football field, recent graduate Tyler Grant (Wurtland, Ky./Raceland) has been inducted into the third annual class of the National Football Foundation’s (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society.

Steinmetz Named Preseason All-American

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) –Two national college football publications have named Thomas More College senior linebacker Brad Steinmetz (West Harrison, Ind./East Central) a preseason All-American. The Sporting News has him named to its only preason All-American team and Lindy’s named him a second team preseason All-American.

Thomas More College to Host Football Summer Camp June 22-25

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - Thomas More College will be hosting a Football Fundamentals Camp for ages 6-13 from June 22-25, 2009.  The camp will be run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily at The Bank of Kentucky Field in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.  Cost of the camp is $100 for the whole camp or $35 per day.  For more information call Assistant Coach Jeremy Kasper at 859-344-3400 or e-mail him at jeremy.kasper@thomasmore.edu.

Thomas More Names 2009 Football Captains

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - Thomas More College Head Football Coach Jim Hilvert announced today (Wednesday, May 20, 2009) the team's 2009 captains.  Senior running back Cordario Collier (New Albany, Ind./New Albany), senior quarterback Trevor Stellman (Burlington, Ky./Conner), senior linebacker Brad Steinmetz (West Harrison, Ind./East Central), senior linebacker Brandon Kohrs (Newport, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) and junior linebacker Matt Clark (Cincinnati, Ohio/McNicholas) were named team captains for the upcoming season.

Thomas More Football to Host Regional Coaching Clinic

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) - Thomas More College football continues to impress following a dynamic 2008 season that featured a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) championship and an appearance in the NCAA Division III playoffs.  The football program, led by 2008 PAC Coach of the Year, Jim Hilvert, has shown incredible growth under his leadership both on and off the field. The Blue and Silver Football Clinic is one of the region's most anticipated new events and is sure to become a staple in annual coaching education.
