Fishburn Named PAC Hitter of the Week

(WEXFORD, Pa.) – Thomas More College junior shortstop Chris Fishburn (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) was named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Baseball Hitter of the Week today (Monday, March 23, 2009) by the conference office.

Fishburn led the Saints to a perfect 5-0 week by batting .400 (nine-of-20) with two homeruns (including one grand slam), three doubles, a triple and 12 runs batted-in.  He drove in seven runs in a four-for-five effort in a 12-7 road victory over Centre.

Fishburn and the rest of the Saints will travel to Delaware, Ohio tomorrow (Tuesday, March 24, 2009) for a non-conference game with Ohio Wesleyan University.  First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
