Two Thomas More College officials who reside in Boone County received a close-up look at reality television last month.
Florence resident Matthew Webster, the college's vice president for student services, and spokeswoman Stacy Smith Rogers of Hebron attended the taping of part of an episode of the ABC program "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" in Fairdale, a Louisville suburb. The show built a new home for Jeff and Shelley Lampe and their six children. The college offered the children tuition waivers. (Read More)

In 2007, Thomas More College hired away Jim Hilvert from across-the-river rival Mt. St. Joseph College to lead the Saints’ football team. In 2008, Thomas More College introduced a new school motto, "Together in Pursuit of Truth."
Now, in 2010, the Saints are 5-0, ranked #9 in the Division III rankings and climbing. They have won 16 of their last 17 games. They’re pursuing something great at Thomas More College. (Read More)
Fall walk to showcase trees, natural habitats
Thomas More College is inviting the community to enjoy the colors of the season at a Fall Walk Oct. 16.
Visitors will take a tour of the newly-named William S. Bryant Arboretum, named for the former Thomas More professor, and learn about the trees on campus and their role in the local habitat. (Read More)

Spencer Berlekamp hadn't even started classes at Thomas More College when he met his adviser, business professor Bob Arnold.
The freshman from Kings High School met with Arnold at orientation in May and now will see him at least three times a week in his First Year Seminar class at Thomas More in Crestview Hills.

Dr. Jack Wells, Physics Professor at Thomas More College, recently received The Indiana Jones Award from Kentucky Monthly Magazine for his back-packing adventures across the Appalachain Trail.
Wells' award was part of the 2010 Professor Superlatives, where Kentucky Monthly asked readers to nominate their favorite professors.
