Nathan Horn is graduating with a B.A. in Computer Information Systems and is an integral part of the Thomas More College community. Since 2009, Nathan has been the primary portal administrator and developer for MyTMC. His excellent programming abilities and communication skills allowed him to highly customize the College's Learning Management System (LMS) and closely tailor it towards the needs of faculty, staff, and students. Prior to that, Nathan worked as an IT Help Desk Analyst at the College's Computing Center. One of his many successful projects involved designing and implementing an automated computer imaging process that significantly improved the staff's workflow and reduced 15 document images to one. Nathan is one of the CIS Department's brightest and most dedicated students. His class designed and implemented a fully-featured application for Cinderella's Closet (a non-profit organization headquartered in NKY that provides prom dresses and special experiences for young women who would otherwise be unable to attend prom) that managed their shopping days and provided critical data that was used to manage funds. Nathan took a particularly active role in the Cinderella project, volunteering above-and-beyond what was required for the course. Nathan prides himself in being about more than just computers. In addition to being an accomplished pianist, he is active in the College's Theater Department (a particularly useful release for him) and remains active with his home church community.
